Along with RESPECT Covid 19 has had a dramatic impact on the activities of all charities since early 2020. Many of our regular events and activities had had to be cancelled due to Covid regulations with a loss of badly needed funds and for many meeting longstanding friends and fellow supporters of our cause. RESPECT shops in Prussia Street and Blanchardstown managed to open for a few weeks in the summer and we must thank our staff and volunteers for their efforts in what was a difficult time to continue trading. We are in contact with our committees and look forward to resuming our fundraising activities as soon as possible. Fortunately the Annual Spring Ball took place in Killiney last January and a modest Golf outing in Luttresltown in October. Our heartfelt thanks to those involved.

The Daughters of Charity Disability Support Service , through diligent planning and work undertaken by staff teams have been very successful in positively managing the threat and impact of Covid 19. The resilience and positivity of indivuals supported by the Service has been central to the positive outcomes to date and we look forward to raise additional funds to support their efforts.
