ANOTHER CHALLENGE
Over 100 Elderly People with an Intellectual Disability who have spent many years in Institutional type buildings deserve to be re-housed. Plans are in progress for an even more exciting project in keeping with today’s needs. This project at St. Joseph’s, Clonsilla will be built to meet the individual needs of all our residents with various Physical and Intellectual Disabilities. The Daughters of Charity Service are determined to move from the old model of institutional care to a more integrated type village setting with no high walls and no closed gates.
Once again RESPECT and their many supporters look forward to this great challenge and to raise the necessary funds to match Government funding. Our main aim is to see our People live in a place that they are most deserving of and cared for with Dignity and Respect.
There is an urgent need for this Project and we trust in the generosity of our many loyal supporters, volunteers, parents, families and benefactors.
